The Weekly Calendar
The Week Boundary
The league, the themed weeks, the Season Pass and the Storm Season all share one calendar. A new week begins every Sunday at 00:00 UTC: the league cycle runs, weekly league AP resets to zero, the next theme starts and the next set of Season Pass tasks appears.
The Six Themes
Themes rotate in a fixed order, so the League page can always show you this week's theme and next week's. During a theme week, the listed actions earn 2x league AP. Only your weekly league score is doubled, never your lifetime AP, and existing anti-farm caps stay the same.
| Theme | Doubled actions |
|---|---|
| War Week | Raids, blockades, sabotage, sieges, combat wins and losses, defense wins, espionage, training troops, building ships, defending a colony raid |
| Construction Week | Upgrades, rezoning, starting research, claiming bases, colony building, colony upgrades, colony tier ups |
| Colony Week | Colony repairs, kudos, aid, settled trade routes, building, upgrades, colony quest claims, defended raids, moon projects, tier ups, founding a colony |
| Trade Week | Market listings, market purchases, buying cards, opening card packs, Xenotech purchases, settled colony trade routes |
| Exploration Week | Scouting moons, harvesting, refills |
| Community Week | Creating an alliance, colony kudos, aid, moon projects, colony quest claims, founding a colony |
A Season Pass season always runs exactly one lap of this rotation: it starts on a War Week and ends after a Community Week.
The Weekly League
Tiers
Every player starts in Bronze. The ladder is a pyramid: each tier above Bronze has a fixed number of groups of 30 players, halving at every step.
| Tier | Groups | Weekly gems (1st / 2nd / 3rd) |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | Unlimited | 5 / 0 / 0 |
| Silver | 32 | 10 / 5 / 0 |
| Gold | 16 | 25 / 15 / 10 |
| Platinum | 8 | 50 / 30 / 20 |
| Diamond | 4 | 100 / 60 / 40 |
| Titan | 2 | 200 / 120 / 80 |
| Warlord | 1 | 500 / 300 / 200 |
Gem rewards are paid automatically at the weekly cycle, and only to finishers with more than 0 AP that week.
How Your Score Works
Your weekly league score is the AP you earn from this Sunday to the next. Almost every action earns AP, themed actions earn double, and trophy AP counts too. The score resets to 0 at every cycle.
Promotion
- ›The top 3 of every group (with more than 0 AP) become promotion candidates for the tier above.
- ›Seats in the tier above are limited to the players it demotes that week, so candidates compete worldwide: the highest weekly AP takes the seats, with your rank inside your own group as the tie-breaker.
- ›If you finish top 3 but miss a seat, you get a notification telling you so.
Demotion
- ›Only a full group (30 players) demotes, so a thinly populated tier does not relegate anyone.
- ›The bottom 3 of a full group drop one tier, as long as they scored less than the group leader.
- ›Bronze cannot demote.
New accounts are placed into Bronze at the next weekly cycle, and groups are rebuilt every week.
Season Pass
Open it from Season Pass in the Social section of the sidebar. Season 1 opened on Sunday 13 September 2026.
Earning XP
Season XP is not a separate grind. It is calculated from what you already do:
- ›League AP: every point of weekly league AP you earn during the season's six weeks, including theme doubling.
- ›Weekly tasks: each week shows 3 tasks drawn from that week's theme. Each completed task adds 150 XP. Every task action is also doubled by its own theme week.
| Theme week | Tasks |
|---|---|
| War | Win 3 combats, launch 5 raids, defend 2 attacks (base defenses or defended colony raids) |
| Construction | Complete 5 upgrades, construct 5 colony buildings, upgrade 3 colony buildings or claim 3 bases |
| Colony | Repair damage 3 times, build or upgrade 3 colony buildings, settle 3 trade routes |
| Trade | Create 3 market listings, buy 3 market listings, buy 2 cards |
| Exploration | Harvest 10 times, refill 3 times, scout 1 new moon |
| Community | Send 5 kudos, send aid twice, contribute to 2 moon projects |
Tasks belong to their week: progress does not carry into the next week.
The Ladder
Both tracks unlock at the same XP thresholds.
| Tier | XP | Free track | Premium track |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 300 | 40 shards | 20 gems |
| 2 | 600 | 10 gems | 60 shards |
| 3 | 1,000 | 60 shards | 30 gems |
| 4 | 1,500 | 15 gems | 90 shards |
| 5 | 2,100 | 80 shards | 40 gems |
| 6 | 2,800 | 20 gems | 120 shards |
| 7 | 3,600 | 100 shards | 60 gems |
| 8 | 4,500 | 25 gems | 150 shards |
| 9 | 5,300 | 120 shards + Aurora Beacon decor | 180 shards + the season's colour theme |
| 10 | 6,000 | 50 gems + Season Voyager title | 150 gems + Season Vanguard title |
A full season pays 120 gems + 400 shards on the free track and another 300 gems + 600 shards on the premium track. Rewards are cosmetic or currency only: never troops, combat power or boosted cards.
Premium Track
The premium track has no separate price: it is included with an active Commander Pass. Premium eligibility is checked at the moment you claim, so:
- ›Activating the pass later in the season (or during the grace period) lets you claim every premium tier you have already reached.
- ›If your pass lapses, you cannot claim premium tiers until it is active again. Claim them while it runs.
The premium colour theme rotates every season. If you already own that season's theme, the tier pays 200 extra shards instead.
Claiming
- ›Tiers are claimed by hand on the Season Pass page, one tier per track.
- ›A finished season stays claimable for one more season (the next six weeks), then its unclaimed tiers expire.
Cosmetic Rewards
- ›Aurora Beacon: once you claim free tier 9, you can place the Aurora Beacon for free in any of your colonies, as often as you like, within each colony's limit of 24 decorations. Without it, the Aurora Beacon costs gems in the decor menu.
- ›Titles: tier 10 grants Season Voyager (free) or Season Vanguard (premium), shown with the season number under your rank in the header and on your profile. You always show exactly one title, picked automatically: a premium title beats a free one, and within the same track the newest season wins.
Commander Pass
What an active Commander Pass does today:
- ›Daily gems: 40 gems once per UTC day, delivered automatically with a notification.
- ›Weekly card: one random Common card every 7 days, added to your card inventory.
- ›Season Pass premium track: premium tiers can be claimed while the pass is active.
- ›Commander badge: shown next to your name in the header and on your public profile.
The pass runs in 30-day periods and renews with the subscription. You can cancel or update payment through the subscription portal linked on the Gems page.
Storm Season
When It Happens
Storm Season follows the shared calendar: every fourth league week, Sunday to Sunday UTC, the same week for everyone. Because the themes run in a six-week cycle, a storm week always lands on a War, Colony or Exploration week. The Storm Season panel appears on your colony screen.
What Changes
Catastrophes keep their normal timing, but the dangerous variants roll far more often:
| Event | Normal | During Storm Season |
|---|---|---|
| Meteor shower turns into a storm (double impacts) | 1 in 5 | 1 in 2 |
| Tidal quake turns major (heavier damage, more road cracks) | 1 in 6 | 1 in 3 |
What You Do
Repair the damage. Every Plasteel you spend on storm-week repairs (buildings and cracked roads in any of your colonies, or repairs you fund for a neighbor) counts toward your contribution and toward a server-wide total.
Rewards
| Reward | Requirement | Gems |
|---|---|---|
| Participation | Spend at least 25 Plasteel on repairs during the storm week | 5 |
| Milestone bonus | All players together spend 5,000 Plasteel that week | +5 |
Rewards are claimed from the Storm Season panel after the week ends. Contribution is tracked per account, not per colony. Unclaimed rewards from earlier storm weeks stay claimable: each claim pays your oldest unclaimed qualifying week first.
Trophies vs Quests
Trophies (Achievements)
There are 84 trophies: 12 categories with 7 tiers each, from stone (tier 7, easiest) to gold (tier 1, hardest). You see them on the Achievements page and in the Achievements and Trophy Room tabs of your profile.
| Category | Tracks |
|---|---|
| Colonist | Bases claimed |
| Harvester | Harvests |
| Commander | Battles won |
| Defender | Defenses won |
| Explorer | Moons explored |
| Fleet Admiral | Ships built |
| Warlord | Raids launched |
| Trader | Exchange trades |
| Trainer | Troops trained |
| Researcher | Research levels completed |
| Alliance | Alliance strength |
| Legend | Lifetime AP |
- ›Paid automatically: a background scan runs every hour for recently active players, unlocks every trophy you qualify for and pays its gems and AP straight to your account. There is nothing to claim.
- ›Rewards: in most categories the easiest tier pays AP only and higher tiers pay gems and AP (up to 400 gems for a tier 1 trophy). Legend trophies pay no AP: the easiest pays nothing, the rest pay gems, up to 750 gems for the top tier.
- ›League bonus: trophy AP also counts toward your weekly league score.
- ›New unlocks are highlighted for 24 hours.
Quests
Open quests from the Quests button in the header.
- ›Tutorial (33 steps): a guided tour of the core systems, ending with a graduation step.
- ›Progression and social quests (44): milestones such as claiming bases, exploring moons, training troops, harvesting, building ships, winning battles, research, trading, applying cards and earning AP, plus linking Discord and your first referral.
- ›Rewards: Gold, AP and, for a few quests, a card pack. Quests never pay gems.
- ›Claiming: a quest completes when you meet its condition, then you claim the reward yourself.
- ›Quest AP adds to your lifetime AP but not to your weekly league score.
Your colony also has its own quest list with colony rewards, shown in the colony screen.
Daily Login & Limited Events
Daily Login Rewards
- ›Open the daily login button in the header (also in the sidebar) and claim once per day.
- ›Rewards run in a 7-day cycle from a reward package: days 1 to 6 pay a fixed reward (gems, Gold or resources), and on day 7 you pick one reward from a choice.
- ›A new claim unlocks 20 hours after your last one.
- ›Your streak survives a short gap (the package's grace period, one missed day by default). Miss more than that and the streak restarts at day 1 with a new package.
- ›After day 7 the cycle starts again with a new package.
Card Drops
The Drops tab in the Cards hub lists exclusive limited cards. A drop can have a start time, an end time, a supply cap and its own gem price. Once a capped drop sells out, it is gone. The tab only appears while a drop is live or upcoming.
Flash Sales
From time to time a flash sale adds a bonus percentage of gems to one specific gem package. The bonus is added automatically when you buy that package during the sale.
Other Recurring Events
- ›Sim Tournaments: scheduled competitive Sim rounds, listed under Tournaments in the Sim section of the sidebar. See the Sim chapter for how rounds work.
- ›Moon Liberation: ongoing PvE against the Selenites on alien-held moons. See the PvE & Aliens chapter.
- ›Alliance events: weekly outposts and forged moons are covered in the Alliances chapter (daily skirmishes and formal wars are currently paused).
Notifications & Sound
Web Push
- ›Open the notification bell in the header. The row Push notifications on this device turns push on or off for the browser you are using. The browser's permission prompt only appears when you press Enable there.
- ›Push is per device: enable it on each browser you play on. The row shows how many of your devices have push on.
- ›If you blocked notifications in your browser, the row says so: allow them again in your browser settings.
- ›Push is sent only for important events: league promotions, demotions, gem rewards and missed promotions, Storm Season, colony raids, meteor showers and tidal quakes, attacks on your bases, raid results, war declarations, tournament starts and prizes, and mentions in moon chat.
- ›Muting a notification category in Profile > Settings also stops push for that category.
Sound
- ›Sound effects play for battles and replays, colony raids, rewards (harvests, claims, card packs, quests, daily login) and colony moments (building, upgrades, tier ups, meteors).
- ›Sound is on by default at 50% volume.
- ›The speaker button in the header mutes or unmutes all sound instantly.
- ›Profile > Settings > Sound has a mute switch and a volume slider.
- ›Sound settings are saved in your current browser, not on your account.
