Three Worlds, One Game

The 3D worlds are not a separate mode. They read and write the same game data as the Map, Colony and Fleet pages, so a base you claim on the 3D moon, a building you place in the walkable colony or a flight you launch from the cockpit view counts exactly like the same action on a normal page.

WorldWhat you do thereHow to get there
Moon surfaceDrive a rover, fly a ship or walk on foot; claim plots, open, harvest and refill your basesMap > Enter the 3D world
Colony on footWalk through your colony, place buildings, lay roads and wallsWalk in at a colony on the 3D moon, or the 3D button on the colony page
FlightLaunch a Scout or Transport and fly the real trip to another moon in the cockpitGalaxy heatmap > Enter world, or Watch live on a ship in flight
OrbitSee your orbital station, its modules and docked ships in orbitView in 3D on your colony's orbit page, or the Orbit toggle in the walkable colony

Desktop and Mobile

The 3D worlds are built for a computer with keyboard and mouse. On a phone the game stays fully playable: the tactical map, the colony page and the fleet page show the same moon, colony and ship, and every action you can take in 3D is also available there.

The Moon Surface

Getting Around

  • ›Rover: the default way to drive across the surface, with a boost for longer stretches
  • ›Ship: take off to fly over the terrain, land the rover again where you want to work
  • ›On foot: land and step out to walk around a site
  • ›Minimap: press M to switch between the whole moon and your surroundings
  • ›Tactical map: jump to the 2D map of the same moon at any time

What You Can Do

  • ›Claim plots: free plots are marked on the ground. Drive up, stop and pay to found a base, just like on the map
  • ›Work your bases: open a base, harvest it or refill it without leaving the 3D world
  • ›Teleport: pick a target on the moon map or a base number and teleport there for a few Gems instead of driving
  • ›Visit colonies: colonies stand on the surface. Walk in to see your own or another commander's colony up close

Your Colony on Foot

Building From Inside

  • ›Buildings: open the build menu, pick a building and place it where you stand. Placement follows the same rules and costs as the colony page
  • ›Roads and walls: paint them cell by cell, or hold Space and walk to lay a whole line. Each cell costs Plasteel
  • ›Removing: mark road or wall cells to clear them again

Visiting

Other commanders' colonies can be walked through the same way. You see their layout, buildings and population, but only the owner can build there.

Flights Between Moons

Launching a Flight

  1. 1.Open the Galaxy heatmap and press Enter world
  2. 2.Pick a docked Scout (to explore a new moon) or Transport (for a visa mission)
  3. 3.Pick the target moon. The launcher shows the flight time and the cost in Gold and Electricity
  4. 4.Launch. The flight is a normal fleet mission, so the ship's crew and energy must be ready

Riding Along

The flight takes as long as the real mission. The view follows the ship through every phase of the trip and lands it on the target moon when the mission arrives. Press V to switch between the cockpit and the outside view.

A ship that is already flying can be joined at any time: press Watch live on the ship in the Fleet or on the ship's page. Closing the view does not stop the ship.

The Station Command Center

The controls card appears on your first visit; afterwards it sits behind the Controls button. Step up to a console and face it: its screen brightens and a prompt names it. When a console has nothing to offer yet, the prompt says why (for example, build the Shipyard module first).

The Consoles

  • ›Station: transfers under way, station status (Dark Matter, Dark Matter per hour, defence, open raid warning), modules, Shipyard (build, repair, crews), fleet, Cruiser call-up, ship transfer, troop transfer, sorties, and the holo table with the whole Saturn system and its flights
  • ›Empire: harvest monitor, refill all bases, running research with speed-ups, troop training, alerts, league and Season Pass with claims, colony production, plus Sim and explorer consoles

The command center uses the same rules and prices as the normal pages, and an action asks for confirmation exactly when its normal page does.

Desktop Only

The command center needs a computer with keyboard and mouse. On a phone you get a link to the orbit page, which offers every action.
